The first craft to orbit around Mun, and the first of a constellation of three satellites to cover Mun's low orbit similar to how things were set up around Kerbin. The transfer stage that brought this craft to Mun was impacted for observation from Kerbin. It currently lacks capacitors needed to remain active in a higher orbit, and it also lacks the second comm dish sported by the other two ComSats that entered Munar orbit later on. A kerbed mission is under development to rectify these shortcomings.
