Mk1-2 Orbital Return Test #2 (Archive)

^^ Craft Information - Capsule Recovery ^^

After failing to recover the capsule from the last test launch due to improperly deployed parachutes, the second attempt will address this issue and also test additional technologies as well. New solid rocket boosters and solar panels will accompany this craft on its way to orbit. These boosters and panels are planned to be installed on a range of future craft as well, so being able to test them properly ahead of time is a great opportunity, despite the lack of success for the first capsule return test.

The capsule has landed in the highlands of the Great Desert, and we've confirmed that it is still intact. Crews are on the way to recover the capsule and its valuable data recorded for this test flight.
