Mu-SCAN (Archive)

^^ Craft Information - Orbital Update - Return to Operations ^^

Once the tech had been proven in space above Kerbin, this satellite was sent into polar orbit around Mun to get a complete biome, altitude and slope map. It traveled to Mun over two days and was inserted into its initial scanning orbit on 10/18.

It has since completed its primary mission, achieving 100% coverage of Mun for both biome and terrain. It then completed a secondary science mission, mapping radiation and gravity levels around Mun's lower space. It now resides in a polar orbit to provide full coverage for low-orbit comms around Mun.

Orbital data has been updated to account for a 4-month operational gap as the KSA was shutdown due to government audit
